How can you use it with diy watercolors? what does it do? i am a beginner with watercolor painting. does the watercolor painting beccome tacky?

You only need to use this if you're *making* watercolor paint from scratch (or from pigment). It binds the pigment and makes it thick, basically. The pots were smaller than I expected. The 4 inch measurement was off nearly a 1/2 inch. Some were cracked. It was a good price, and they worked for the project so overall I was satisfied.

I used 2 oz with 1/4 cup water (see photo), then added that to 2 cups of demerara simple syrup. It tasted so awful, both by itself and in cocktails, that I had to throw the whole thing out. My wife didn't notice a difference in taste, even side-by-side with the original syrup. The consistency was great though. I'll look for another product that's more specifically made for food (and not paint).
