It's a great book for practicing previous year question and easy to understand, topics wise point wise books are a concise and UPSC-focused summary of all NCERTs, making them great for quick understanding and revision. The language is simple, and important concepts are well highlighted for Prelims. However, some depth from the original NCERTs is missing, so they are not enough for Mains preparation. Overall, they are useful for beginners and for fast revision before the exam.

I bought Disha Publication’s NCERT Summary from Amazon mainly to save time during revision for competitive exams. The summaries are to the point, and the language is simple enough to grasp quickly. What I really liked is that it includes important facts, tables, and flowcharts which make revision faster. For prelims-style preparation, this book feels like a handy reference. However, I wouldn’t recommend relying on it alone. Some topics are too short, and if you have weak basics, you’ll still need to read the original NCERTs for better understanding. It’s more of a revision tool than a learning tool. Overall, worth buying if you want a quick, organized summary of NCERTs, especially for exams like UPSC, State PCS, SSC, or other government exams.
