Highly recommend - great advice!
Excellent information that everyone should know about sex but doesn't. Well written, easy to read, full of great tips and suggestions for improving physical and emotional intimacy with another person. Author is nonjudgmental and also very funny.

Damaged in transit
Book is great, I love the author and content. I’m annoyed that my books came damaged though.

Love this book.
Great book with easy to understand and apply concepts. Trauma informed, non shaming and non stigmatizing. I think every couple who wants to work on their relationship would benefit from reading this, as well as any relationship therapist.

The Owner’s Manual for Shared Journeys
We’ve had Come Together for just 3 weeks (it arrived 2 days after its January 30th release), and it already feels like it should be in the kitchen with the cookbooks. Emily has the rare quality of making complex, science-based, yet very hands-on strategies and practices feel like they come straight from her heart to yours. The book has the same super-easy-access structure as her bestseller, Come as You Are, which, a decade after its publication, is still the reigning authority on women’s sexuality. If I had to pick just one piece from the book to pass on, it’d probably have to be “Pleasure is the Measure.” That simple-seeming coinage, not sex itself, not any of the myriad issues shared life involves, cuts through so many thickets: do you and your partner bring pleasure to your partner's life and to your own? Can your relationship - despite health crises, financial challenges, childrearing, work demands, lost socks, and a thousand distractions - nurture a mutual joy in living? We need this book. There’s a pretty good chance you do too.

Overwehelming
The science shared in this book is very detailed; which is positive, and feels overwhelming at the thought of developing all the skills presented in the book.

Fantastic read
I highly recommend reading this book both independently or with your spouse! It has really shaped the way I view sex in general and the way sex plays a role in my marriage. At times it can feel a little wordy or redundant, but overall the takeaways and nuggets of information are fantastic. As a social worker, I will definitely recommend this book to friends and colleagues moving forward!

Great Book
As a couples counselor I really appreciate the way this book normalizes the way intimacy can fluctuate over the course of long-term relationships. I also really appreciate analogies that help us shift the way we think about things and this book had some good ones. Accessible information that isn't too full of jargon or therapist-speak.
