Healthy, clean, vibrant moss sheet
I use this in a tree frog tank where I have 8 blind tree frogs, born this way, they literally have no eye sockets... anyways they like to soak at times but more often they seem to prefer the moss, they get the moisture, and soft texture and its a living natural plant. The moss came nice and green, full and clean. I tear off sections as I need them. My tank is only 5 gallons and I only use the moss in a third of it, I replace it every few weeks just cause its easier to keep the frogs clean and disturb them as little as possible rather then cleaning it off and re fitting it. One bag lasts me about 3 or 4 months. Good stuff

Zombie Moss?
This arrived in a single zip lock bag a little bigger than a sandwich bag. Upon visual inspection it looked brown and was so dry it was crumbling in the zip lock bag as it was handled. I put it on some just moistened soil and also sprayed the surface just till I saw a few beads of water on the surface. This was a small amount of moss for what I paid and getting it in this condition was a second burn.

Dry and dormant, not fresh and alive.
Was not fresh and alive when it arrived, it was bone dry and dormant. Would have given 3 stars, but after reviving the moss half of it remained lifeless. This makes completing a tank hard since now it's been over a month I've had to wait for it to gain the proper vigor to transplant and have healthy growth. From the looks of it this will take longer still cause I am just now seeing the new growth and much of it remains yellow and lifeless. It gets two stars instead of 1 because it wasn't completely dead. It's not the first time I have received moss in very poor condition and it will recover with time but this shouldn't have been a problem. The description is false.

This moss is growing and grows better on soil than what I have in the terrarium
This moss is growing and grows better on soil than what I have in the terrarium. Not sure what to do with it, but will figure out something.

Not doing so good!
It arrived very brown. After two weeks, I did my best keep it moist and spray it with mister everyday but it still brown and look dead. I don't know when will it turn green as moss should be :(

Very Fresh and Alive
Received an approximately 10" x 8" x 3/4" mat. Bag had condensation inside before I opened it, contents were nice and moist. Top of the moss was extremely verdant, even thickness and texture throughout, no thin spots. While cutting the mat into smaller pieces, two small worms and an earwig came crawling out. Talk about fresh and pesticide free! Got two free worms for my garden and my Venus Fly Traps enjoyed the earwig for a snack to boot. Already ordered another mat, thinking of ordering two more for other projects. Quite the good find & buy.Let's see how it grows, will give 5 stars if everything goes well.

Beautiful Moss
This is one of the most beautiful ground cover mosses I have ever seen. I ordered this as simply another Amazon impulse buy, but it is now the most prominent covering in my soon-to-be poison dart frog terrarium (along with leaf litter, of course). It remains to be seen if the frogs like it, but it is a flat, neat moss that seems to do well, so far, in my high humidity environment. One pack was enough to cover my 56 column terrarium, along with supplementary terrain (water areas, sphagnum, leaf litter, rocks, plants, etc.). I will update this once I have my frogs, just in case others are looking for a good moss for a similar purpose and want to know how the amphibians react to this. That aside, this is quite the aesthetically pleasing addition to my terrarium.
