Not at all. A .3mm bit will not fit
The collet is not centered and will cause wobble. I was able to use a very small and flexible bit, but you're fighting the chuck for larger bits.* I purchased another chuck and found much of the same issues so I've updated my review to 4 stars since it might be the nature of these small chucks to be so wobbly and the new chuck trades off ease of opening and closing for a more precise grip on the drill bit.

Item as described, works ok, poor designed chuck
Item as described, chuck is somewhat of a loose design, it tightens as it screws onto the shank base, so the fingers are sloppy in the chuck until it is tight.
