This is a sleek, attractive and well built fireplace. I don't leave many product reviews but I was so impressed by this fireplace that I felt it warranted providing one. I am finishing my basement and am installing two fireplaces. I ordered the 78" WiFii Oxhart Flame. I had also ordered a 72" fireplace from a different manufacturer that was slightly cheaper but in the same price range. When opening the boxes, the difference in quality between the two was striking. The Oxhart Flame is much heavier and solid. The metal finish and glass front were far more attractive. The exhaust grill across the top looks sleek and high-end. I had actually opened the box for the other brand first and I wasn't initially that dissatisfied until I opened the Oxhart Flame and realized just how much better it was. Other features: Remote is responsive and works well for adjusting flame effects and temperature. The flame of course doesn't fully replicate a real fire but is beautiful with numerous adjustments. It has a continuous nice-appearing log (other brand had 6 pieces that you had to assemble) as well as attractive crystals. While I haven't yet run the heater for an extended periord of time, it puts out a warm heat and allows you to set the temperature for the room. The only downside I have is that it beeps when making adjustments, although I haven't dug into the manual to know whether this can be silenced or not. I also haven't tried the WiFii control features yet. It does require a 6" wall cavity so a standard 2x4 wall will not work - will need 2x6. Overall, this is a stunningly beautiful fireplace that appears and functions as a high-end product. It is a great value at this price point and is markedly better than similarly priced fireplaces. In fact, I returned the 72" that I had ordered from a different manufacturer and ordered another Oxhart Fire. I am very pleased with this purchase!

We chose this fireplace based on our contractor’s recommendation—he’s installed it in several homes and consistently praised its ease of use, reliability, and performance. One major advantage is that it runs on a standard 15-amp outlet, unlike many others that require a 20-amp circuit. That was a game-changer for us since we wouldn’t have been able to use the heating feature with most other models. The flame visuals are bright and beautiful, with multiple color options for both the fire and the logs, allowing us to customize the look depending on the mood. The heater kicks in quickly and puts out an impressive amount of warmth—perfect for cozying up without cranking up the thermostat. Overall, the value is outstanding. You’d easily spend double or triple on a comparable fireplace with the same features. This one delivers on both function and aesthetics without breaking the bank.

We love it. We didn’t use the crystals and prefer it that way. Works well. We found our favorite setting, and just leave it like that. We turn it on every evening. The heat is subtle, but nice. My husband built a cabinet for it, and I tiled it.

This fireplace is worth every penny. Quality is on the high end; flames look very real and bright. The heater blows from the top and warms up the area very quickly. Not loud (which surprised me). Watch the entire video to see the quality after I dim the living space lights a little bit. The customer service team is amazing as well. The initial one I ordered came with front glass cracked due to shipping not handling the package properly (I assume). I reached out to the customer service team and they immediately started a replacement process and got it delivered to me within days! Overall, highly recommend! I can’t wait to see how all of this will come together after we complete our basement finish!

Although the flames work, the heat put out is minimal. It will not rise above 62 degrees. Also, the blower will only stay on high for a few minutes and cycles back to low or off. The remote control does not work at all. It took considerable effort to install in our recessed wall and would be difficult to return. The customer service number in the instruction pamphlet leads only to a recorded message and you cannot even leave a message.

Beautiful fireplace! We loved it so much we actually bought a second one in 50” for our master bedroom. And great customer service! We’ve had this fireplace for a year and then all of a sudden it went out unexpectedly. I reached out to the seller and they sent me a new one to my house and it was delivered 2 days later! I will definitely be a forever repeat customer!!

Look really great, hope it continues to perform as well as it has so far. I measured several times before I purchased this, but was a little off as far as the taper of the firebox went and had to remove the side stone plates to provide clearance for the insert to fit.
