More for aesthetics than anything, and a pain to put up.

These are nice. Originally paid $19.99 for 12-pack but the price has since gone up which I’m not happy about since I was planning to get more. The product didn’t come with any sticky tabs. Installation is easy…I use t-pins to attach them to my wall (will leave tiny holes in dry wall…you’ve been warned) and they are very secured in place. I got these for decorative purposes and to hopefully deaden some sound. The quality of the foam is pretty good and thick for the 2-inch. They come compressed for ease of shipping; must open the package and let air re-inflate them. They aren’t perfect (a few had bad end cuts) but they work so I’m keeping them. Will purchase again…eventually.

Unlike most I use this in my trunk sides ( used staple gun )and top of my Jaguar where after upgrading my muffler to a performance muffler there’s a drone and increase inside the cabin due to the SUV profile as it had more room for sound to bounce around . I think it helped about 30-40% reduction inside . I also sometimes throw in few stacks of this in The rear seat and empty foot areas when doing long cross country rides which prevents /reduces the drone inside .

These don’t really work for sound reduction, but on the upside, they’re probably out gassing horribly bad foam poison clouds as you sleep
