These look great and the fish love them
I will be ordering more of these for my 2nd tank. I ordered the pack of 3 wood logs to add an interesting look to my tank and give my shrimp something to play around on. (My tank is only 5 gallon...I have guppies, shrimp and mystery snails.) Everyone in the tank seems to love these little logs. The shrimp crawl around on them, the snails have been all over them, etc. They are really pretty and the perfect size to lay around and look beachy. I did boil them like they recommend and I'm happy to say that they look great and they are staying on the bottom of the tank.

So cute in my tanks!
These logs are a perfect addition to my small tanks. My shrimp love going in and on top of the logs. They also love snacking on the logs when it has some biofilm to eat! In my betta tank the log is just a decoration as the betta is too big to hide inside. I boiled the logs for about 15-20 minutes to remove the color so it would not tint the water. That was a good decision!

Very nice and good size.
Arrived crushed because it was shipped in a soft envelope, otherwise a very nice piece. I used aquatic glue and put it back together.

Was hoping it would be wider
Thought it was wider but only about 2inches in diameter. Good quality overall.

Delighted with My Purchase: Cholla Wood Adds Charm and Character to My Aquarium!
I recently purchased a piece of cholla wood to use as a decoration in my fish tank, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. What sets this wood apart is its unique appearance, providing a distinct look to my aquarium that isn’t as common as other decorations.Upon arrival, I was pleased to find that the wood was precisely as described in size and appearance. However, it’s important to note that before placing it in your aquarium, soaking the wood in water for a few days and changing the water multiple times a day is essential to remove the tannins. This process prevents the wood from turning the aquarium water a dark brown color.Once the soaking process is complete, the wood can be safely added to the aquarium without any concerns. The tannins won’t harm the fish; instead, they simply tint the water, mimicking a natural stream environment.I highly recommend this cholla wood for anyone seeking a unique and natural-looking decoration for their fish tank. Its intricate structure provides ample hiding spaces for small fish, particularly beneficial if you have young fry or baby fish in your tank. Overall, a fantastic addition to any aquarium setup!

Very large and great for a Betta
I love this piece of cholla. At 1st I was put off by the size of it but realized it was actually very nice. I put plants in the holes on top and some pop back out but hoping a few longer ones will take root in it. My Betta loves it and I see him in it frequently. I like the fact that it's very thin vs the more narrow tube's that are very thick wood. Both are nice but I do like this one better I think.

Perfect for freshwater tanks
Took a long time to finally sink (4 hours of boiling plus 2 weeks in the tank)but my shrimp and scuds like it. Lots of little nooks and crannies to hide in.
