This is a well made, heavy faceplate. At 3/8" thick, it is rigid and well balanced.

Excellent value.
When I first screwed this on to my lathe, it was over 20 thou out, but I took off a nut on the shaft so it could seat better and my dial indicator doesn't even wiggle. Pretty impressed with the finish as well, nothing overly sharp and everything is aligned properly off the face.

I have a couple of different faceplates. But this is my go to faceplate. Fits my Rigid 12" lathe perfectly. Highly recomment for turning anything over 4" wide.
