This puffer jacket is actually a pretty decent moderate-weather jacket. The insulation is not suitable for truly cold weather (below 10F), but will probably do well above that with appropriate layering. The materials seem of good quality and the stitching, zippers and velcro are all solid and fuctional. There are only 3 pockets: on interior with no fastener and two snap-closure hand pockets. These side pockets are somewhat small and will not accommodate a large hand with a bulky glove. The hood zips on and off easily but I found it too large overall while the jacket itself was appropriately sized. Good value for the current $54 price tag. However, I don't know who wrote the ad verbiage, but they were not on the same page. I have to comment that this jacket is NOT Puma branded, is NOT canvas, is NOT sherpa-lined, does NOT have knit cuffs or a multitude of pockets.
