Not all of these smell good, but they all burn well. They're easy to light and they help you figure out which scents you like. Some are foul, most are great.

I absolutely love incense. I use it regularly. I'd long wanted to buy one of these larger incense packs, and I've generally had a good experience with HEM incense. This is a 12-box variety pack. Each box has 20 incense sticks for a total of 240 sticks. As noted, the scents vary quite a bit, though I'd say that this particular box is very, very Americanized and maybe a bit disappointing as a result. The scents last a decent amount of time. I'm guessing in the 30-45 minute range. The scents themselves are so odd that I can't call them natural as you get scents here like pure house, casa, night queen and others. There are some more traditional options including vanilla, lemon, and strawberry. Again, however, I consider the scent selection kind of weak and not what I'd expect from HEM. The scent color varies according to the actual scent. I've also found the scents somewhat durable, however, I've had a handful of sticks where I had to re-light them. I found that the somewhat odd scents kept these from being overly relaxing. Overall, I'm sticking with a 4-star review. I'm probably closer to a 3.5 as this was a somewhat disappointing variety pack from hem. However, a bad stick from hem is still better than most others. So, I'll go with 4-stars and likely aim for a consistent scent next time instead of the variety pack.

I have nothing but praise for these incense sticks and will most certainly be ordering more when the time arrives. The sticks rich, calming, and not overbearing. In fact the aroma is simply amazing. Whether I'm using them for meditation, relaxation, or just to reenergize, my home has never smelled better.

I agree with several reviewers saying there's an overwhelming amount of heavy floral scents. It would've been nice to have a wider variety. It is a good amount for the money, but variety would be nice.

These are pretty good! I read the reviews after purchasing and was very worried about duplicate scents in my order. I was happy to receive a great mix. I would say it’s 50% standard incense (sandal wood, palo santo, rain, etc) and 50% unexpected scents (lemon, strawberry, rainforest, passion fruit). If I compare them to similar incense sticks like Satya, I’d say they are less dry and maybe a bit stronger. Burn time is ~30-45mins.

My experience with incense is very limited. Dollar store brand, Sataya, and this. Dollar store being the worst by miles. Lit or unlit, this stuff is VERY fragrant. I dumped all the sticks into a small glass container and the amalgam of smells filled the room for a couple days from simply sitting there. HEM lights very easily, may need to be blown out so as to not let too much of the stick get burnt. Sataya would go out easily allowing only the tip to be burnt. HEM creates a very fragrant smoke, easily fills the room and beyond. Sataya does the same, perhaps creating a more thick/dense smoke. HEM 12 pack is an exceptional value for what you get. 12 different scents making up a total of 240 sticks for $20. Where as with Sataya I paid $15 for 7 different boxes making a total of 70 sticks. The actual smells produced by HEM are also great. I am really enjoying the variety given and look forward to buying this again knowing that the next box will have a different random mix of scents. I imagine you would need to purchase this variety pack several times over before getting every scent profile that they have to offer. Burn time is also good. I didn't time it but I don't think it goes on for 45 mins as advertised although I don't need that much time on it as it goes beyond what I would have expected and wanted when concerning the smell left behind and the concentration of that smell. Packaging on this is very good. All the boxes came within a box that fit them perfectly. Individual boxes are also good with an inner tube to help ensure that the sticks stay protected and unbent. A few of the sticks lost a small chunk along them because I placed them all in a single jar (friction). HEM sticks are also slightly longer than Sataya. My picture shows the HEM sticks (black) next to Sataya (brown) for comparison. All in all, I would choose HEM over Sataya due to overall price to quantity ratio. In the same time I do believe Sataya makes a better quality incense albeit not by much.
