I am so pleased with this new book from The Cook’s Atelier. Recipes are clear and easy to follow, well explained. Pictures are gorgeous. It is a must have whether you fancy yourself a cook, or a Francophile. What I really like is the authors’ sharing their story, their very personal account on the life they chose/choose to move to Burgundy and investing their lives into the region and the culture. I have been to the shop/school in Beaune, and when you meet them and see how they do things, you are moved by their passion and commitment. Inspiring. This is a lot more than a cookbook.

Absolutely wonderful cookbook that takes you along into the French countryside and way of life in a simple accessible way. The photos are amazing and really draw you into the world of simple living and cooking. Can’t wait to cook up some of the delicious recipes! Even if you’re not into cooking you’ll love the stories and images of this wonderful cookbook.

This is a beautiful book! So full of easy recipes and the story of how they started is amazing. If you love France and French cooking, this is a must-have book.

I LOVE this book. I love their story, and the great recipes (I’ve done a few already) that are accessible and user friendly.

This is such a beautiful book filled with inspiration and tips for using French ingredients & tools!I like their tips for trading out ingredients for the season and what is on hand. The book is visually as beautiful as the recipes!…. If you ever get a chance to go to their Atelier in Beaune, whether it be classes or just to browse the gorgeous store, it’s truly an experience.

A beautiful book with lovely recipes. I have been studying the book and there are several recipes I can't wait to make. Making the roast pork loin tomorrow! I attended a cooking class at their place in Beaune several years ago and loved it.

Spent a rainy, raw afternoon cozy in bed, sipping coffee and immersing myself in this sublime cookbook and highly recommend anyone who buys it do the same. It really deserves time set aside to truly immerse yourself in it. Treat yourself!
