Easily add a second screen, even for portable set ups
Easy to plug in and use, and highly portable. Great if you have a tiny laptop and need a second screen but don't want to be tied to one desk. It works in landscape or portrait mode - just turn it and it rotates the image to suit - which is great when working on documents or spreadsheets.I also have the USB-C version for a different laptop, which is even better (though was a bit tricky to set up, if I remember rightly. Got there in the end). It's also slimmer and has better quality screen, so if you have a choice of USB 3 or C, go C.Only complaint is that you can't get it to sit as vertically as I'd like, and it's a bit unstable when it's at the limit of its verticality. A slightly longer leg would make a big difference. Similar issues with verticality on the USB-C version, though that has a magnetic folding cover like a tablet, which also helps protect the screen.

Great Portable Monitor - Easy Install on Win 10
I have bought it in order to use for work as I travel a lot and it might be useful. Firstly, the product can be easily installed and it runs almost flawlessly with Windows 10. However, the colours seem a bit washed out and it was lagging when plugged in to my working laptop. Apparently, the lagging is somehow linked to processor's usage. Finally, I have been using it for two weeks now and I would recommend it for working purposes. On the other hand, buying it for a gaming setup might not be your best choice due to screen lagging.

First impressions good
I spent a while deciding which one to get as an add on for working from home on a now too small laptop screen. I looked at USB-C ones but couldn't confirm the ports on our two laptops had the required Alt mode so played safe with this one. Installed fine, resolution fine, colour fine for work but perhaps less contrast than the main screen. It also looks nice and the stand works well. I tried it on an old laptop but it didn't work as I don't think the ports had enough power to drive it and probably wouldn't have been fast enough for video. The case is a bonus and perfect to keep it in but a pocket for the cable would have been nice.My only negative is as the case doesn't have a handle you can feel the monitor flex when you hold it. All in all not as good as a normal monitor but perfect for travelling or keeping at the side of the sofa for occasional use, and much tidier as there is only one cable.

Good value travel unit.
I've grown used to having 2 screens and a large one at home office. This is a reasonably priced unit but the quality and brightness are very good.Compact and easy to set up.If I was travelling a lot more I'd invest in a sleeker design but I've no complaints at this price point.

A game changer for home working, good quality for price
This screen allows me to work from the coolest/warmest/quietest room as I wish. Great for working at home. I even carry it to my office, when I go in, and made possible to work from a friend's house. I could imagine a better quality screen, but considering the price point I am more than happy with it.

Works, straight out of the box.
Great bit of kit. Works out of the box 1st time on a USB3 connection.Comes with a Y shaped USB so if you have USB but not enough power you can plug into a USB power adapter or powered hub.Software settings only so can't adjust brightness and contrast etc if you're using with a locked down device but out of the box settings are fine.Case looks nice, well padded.

Great when it works - but 90% of the time it doesn't
The screen is compact, tidy and light. When it works, it's great, and the fact it pivots portrait and landscape if great.USB cable is a big thick and clunky.Main issue though is that even with the latest Displaylink drivers loaded, and all permissions A-OK, most of the time the screen just sits there, dead as a dodo.Might be ok with Windows, but useless on a Mac with MacOS 10.15.1

Must have been good but it did not work with my laptop
It must have been a good monitor but unfortunately it did not work with my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop on Windows 10 even though I used the latest driver that said it supports Windows 10. The latest driver comes on a CD, but for reason unknown to me AOC do not make available the latest driver on their website :/ only an older version so I had to use the CD. Its too bad. I liked the fancy design with the stand.
