Komelon PowerBlade Tape 5m (Width 27mm), One Size, KOMMPT516M , Black

This review is actually for the 8m one I bought at a trade show, not the 5m one as i bought it for my father in law. Its an awesome tape, very handy to have the magnets at its end, and fantastically useful to have the measurements printed on BOTH SIDES of the tape! Also i bought a quick release adaptor which is good but a bit unnecessary in my opinion. I have a fatmax which is pretty much the standard onsite, but this easily matches it for much less cost. Time will tell if it lasts but it certainly feels like it will.

Bought this due to being left handed and inches scale always got in my way when i was measuring and marking up work. This is a game changer - high visibility on both sides on the measure. Great robust feeling - loving the multi function end of the tape, magnets very useful. Tremendous value for money. Had numerous tapes in my basket over a period of weeks, so glad i opted for this one. Bright & vibrant readings makes me feel i can measure more accurately than ever before...LOL

Never heard of the brand before I bought it. Had it a couple of months and tape already starts sliding back in when in locked position. My colleague bought a Swedish brand tape and it had a break on it which this one lacks. You can brake it with the lock button but it's not so easy. Last week I had it out 2 meters and it went back in in full speed and snapped my thumb so bad it cut it.Magnet is good and it's easy to read. I think it's a good tape for home diy but not for professionals. I work as a curtain wall/window fitter and use tape all day long.

The best tape measure I have ever had

No hay mucho que decir sobre un metro o flexómetro para obra. Trabajo en la instalación de panel yeso laminado, o pladur, drywall, como quieras llamarlo.Suelo reventar un par de metros cada pocos meses por el trabajo en si, subir a escaleras, andamios, trabajos en altura, plataformas etc etc. Algunas veces estas herramientas se caen y con el propio impacto se rompen.El caso es que decidí empezar a invertir un poco más de dinero en marcas con más calidad y encontré los modelos Komelon. La estructura exterior del flexómetro es muy resistente y el diseño es cómodo sobretodo para personas con las manos grandes como las mías. Lo más importante es que la cinta métrica es muy resistente (si tratas de cortarla la cortaras de eso no hay duda) a golpes, dobleces y rayonazos por ejemplo.Además visualmente es muy sencillo ver su numeración, parece una tontería pero trabajar ocho o más horas con una cinta métrica que no puedes ver bien en una pasada es un problema.En fin dejando de lado los tecnicismos tengo dos modelos Komelon, el de cinco metros y el de ocho desde hace más de un año, siguen en perfecto estado y aguantan como camiones. Se me han caído desde todas las alturas y están más maltratados que tu relación con el alcohol, pero ahí siguen aguantando y mi cartera bailando porque no he tenido que volver a comprar más flexometros.-Negativo-Han intentado robarmelos más veces de las que me gustaría admitir porque el diseño plateado los hace parece más premium.

Es perfecto para medir y más cuando lo imantas a una superficie metálica por los imanes que tiene al inicio de la cinta métrica.
