Langmead Herbs Fresh Cut Chives, 25g

These chives are great of good quality with a proper garlicy/onion-like flavour. Fresch chives are a standard addition to our weekly grocery order. These come in a small plastic bag and are bound by an elastic band.In the fridge they should last for about 3 to 4 days before they get a little soggy.I use chives in lots of dishes; as a garnish on soups, as a vital ingredient in my self-made garlic sauce for Shawarma, in salads or on pastas. The best thing that chives require very little handling, a bit of a last minute wash, and a sharp blade of even a pair of scissors will do.

I'm sick of buying chives from the supermarket which are either soggy or go soggy within a day. These lasted me a whole week without issue. Thoroughly impressed.

...pick out the occasional infectious slimy ones. If you don't, the entire pack will be ruined. I'm extremely fussy with fresh produce (in fact, the Most Patient Man in the World, my partner, hates going physically shopping with me, as I'll spend a good hour or more poking and prodding myriad fresh fruit and veg; obsessessively checking dates on dairy, and pulling out every thing to get to the back rows, etc). So pick out any dodgy bits that will infect the entire lot, as with any fresh produce, stick them in a decent herb keeper (bought a lovely one here on Amazon) and they'll serve you well. As with all fresh herbs. 😊

Great for a day or two but they wilted really quickly so had to throw some away.
