With a little work, this makes for a good frame. You'll need to whittle away the tongue and groove to make it fit - the tongue is too wide for the groove, and once it's made to fit use tacks to hold the frame together. There are also not enough thumb tacks to secure the canvas to the frame so be prepared to provide your own. All in all, with a little of your own effort, you can make this work.

Apart from ordering wrong size wood was abit split in parts

I got this to fit what I like to call a masterpiece painted onto canvas that is sized 40x50 cm . So when I purchased this I was excited to frame the canvas and put it on the wall . However , this frame isn’t the right size , it doesn’t fit around a canvas that is size 40x50 . An enormous portion of the canvas is covered by this frame and it does not outline the canvas at all . From the pictures and description I was lead into believing this frame would clip around the canvas but this is not the case . Also the wood looks untreated and splintered when we connected two parts together. Extremely unsatisfied it’s only use is fuel for a fire now honestly .

Did the job lovely. Went together fine despite reviews to the opposite.

They were really difficult to fit in together and when I eventually got them to slide in they didn’t match up properly

Very poorly made as the corners don’t go together properly and the frame is supposed to be 40 x 50 cm but the one I got is 37 cm at one end and 34 cm the other end both sides are 50 cm so as a result the frame goes together wonky.I am a handyman and I am accustom to working with wood well I suppose this will teach me for being lazy!!!

This is cheep rubish wood and should cost £2 not £9,look elsewhere for better quality
