It just makes life easier.
I read a lot of reviews and went with this one. My daughter had 2 accidents in it and only a tiny bit of pee leaked by the corners. What I really loved about it is that it makes life so much easier. When you’re juggling a kid with a soaked outfit and probably some groceries and whatever else is in your car all you have to do is put this thing in wash. Air dry it though. I could imagine the heat could crack the waterproofing and eventually fail. It’s also extremely soft. I read about that but my daughter thought that was great.

Leaks at the buckle seam
I really like the high back and overall coverage of this pad but it ended up being useless because it leaks at the seam around the buckle area.I have a 4 month old who has had more poop blowouts than I knew was possible and a toddler we are about to start potty training so needed to find a good versatile piddle pad option. I bought 4 different brands and tested the shape by putting them into the carseats and tested the effectiveness by pouring about 1/2 cup of water onto the seat of each. This one fit well but leaked badly at the seam so will be going back immediately.

Leaks by the buckle area through the seams
Doesn't work. It leaks where the seams are. I bought this to hopefully prevent from needing to remove the whole car seat cover from a pee accident but it didn't prevent the car seat from getting soiled. Not worth it.

Leaks at buckle and below
The first time my child had a leak while in the car seat this did not protect the buckle area and urine was all over underneath the pad. Yes its comfy looking and doesn't slide around too bad, but it did t really seem to protect wetness from getting to the car seat.

Saves car seats from spills !!!
This product is amazing!!! My 1 year old loves to turn her bottle over so it leaks in her car seat and subsequently causes it to smell. It’s a pain to have to take the cover off and wash it. This product is a lifesaver . It has a plastic underside which makes sure it doesn’t leak.

Save the car seats!
Buy this to save yourself from having to wash the whole car seat cover!! Accidently dried the old one in the dryer which caused some warping and melted. Just make sure to air dry.
