Patriot Viper V730 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard With lighting profiles Kaihl Brown Switches (PV730MBULGM) -US LAYOUT-

I didn't want to review this straight away as I wanted to get comfortable with it and know as much as I could about it first.This keyboard has trumped my friends who all use Razer and Corsair mechanical keyboards. They were surprised at how well built it was and how responsive the keys were in comparison to the Cherry keys that they are used to.The presentation of the packaging is great and definitely a presentation upon opening, certainly makes you want to record an unboxing video from how pleasing it is to open.You do not require the software to change the LEDs or create macros, but if you want to make full use of the keyboards features then the software is ideal.Something that isn't straight forward is custom LED colors for the keys. You can change the on board color palette by using the Viper software and double clicking the color palette, this will bring up a spectrum that allows you to assign the desired color to the palette. When you have set your desired color or palette you press the Fn key + F12 on your keyboard then choose 1 to 5 on the F keys that should be flashing, every LED should have now turned off allowing you to tap each key to set the desired color. The process can be tedious but it really does look great and the keys are very bright, not to mention the whitest white LED color I've seen on an RGB keyboard.I have accidentally spilled coffee on my Viper and after leaving it to dry out and unsticking the keys it worked perfectly, although I could really do with doing some maintenance and re-greasing the keys.When you get the hang of the keyboard then it can really feel like it's a premium model and certainly a cheap alternative to Corsair or Razer.I wouldn't mind an option for a larger wrist rest as my hands are pretty big and arc straight past the wrist rest, which is a shame.

I ordered this and then realised that it was a US keyboard layout, so I had resigned myself to sending it back.I'm not sending it back.The design is exceptional, key action nice and springy with not too much noise, construction and aesthetics are first class. Don't forget to download the available software which allows you to customise the LED effects.You might be able to remap keys to give the £ symbol but I just installed US QWERTY keyboard layout alongside UK QWERTY and switch between the two as needed.A quality keyboard.

Such a great keyboard for the price. Patriot really done well, its such a clean keyboard, the switch is a little sensitive to what i'm used to but I haven't ever had a mech keyboard. Great RGB effects, stainless steel & has a magnetic detachable palm rest.

This is an excellent mechanical keyboard. In fact I'm using it right now to type this review since I got it 5 or so months ago it has been my daily driver for a plethora of reasons. One or two issues here and there of course. It's large...not the largest but takes plenty of room. The profiles that you set up rather that being edited when you go back to make changes later are wiped and and replaced by what you set-up anew (unless you do it in their software rather than on the keyboard). love the soft-touch rubber on the wrist rest, it's very comfortable even for long sessions.

A fantastic headset stand.I use this for my HyperX wireless headset, for which it does a great job. I also use the extra usb 3.1 slots for my keyboatd and mouse with no problems.Setup is simple, just plug into a spare usb 3 slot on your computer and your good to go.

I bought this as a birthday present and it was very well received.

Love this headset stand, saves a lot of hassle crawling under desk to plug in USB drives or gadgets. Recommended it to friends and family and the ones that bought the same one are very happy that they got it.

The build quality of the keyboard is very good. The RGB lighting looks really nice. Kailh switches are somewhat inferior to mx cherry but you get what you pay for. I rate it 4/5 because the RGB software is crashing regularly.
