Instructions were slightly confusing, but wasn't hard to set up. Better understanding of the English language would help with the directions. But, all that aside, this camera is awesome! I can check on my dog LIVE! And even talk to her, like when she's on the couch and not supposed to be! And she can talk back! Scared the crap out of my daughter, she thought I was in the room, LMAO! I have it sitting where I can move the camera and see all angles of my living room. Who came in, who left, who's arguing! The nite vision is fantastic, better than what I have outside! Zoom feature is terrific too, nite or day! I used the 64GB card, which has stored at least 4 days. And with movement constantly, it's usually always recording. Have had ZERO issues.Regarding set up. I did not use the QCode, it didn't work, and tried 3 times. I initially plugged Ethernet cord into camera and into internet box for inital set up. Then moved to it's permanent location for WiFi. The app can be a bit slow at times, but that's probably due to the high number of devices currently using WiFi. Definitely and highly recommend. Indoor use only. Did not work well at nite if I set up at a window, the IR creates a glare. Daytime in the window worked better than what I have now.

I see what others are saying in reviews of this thing. As soon as the free cloud service expires, the honeymoon is over. They wanted $6 to bout $15 per month if I remember. The highest price equal to what the demo-month cloud service was. Without the cloud this thing is unreliable. What good is an unreliable security device? Software glitches piling up. This device is not really a security camera. It is low price bait to hook you onto a cloud service. I’m not cool with that. Wish I could return it, but the “free” cloud service sails you thru the return window. It worked so good with the cloud service, but the price should have really read: “$39, plus $175/year for the life of the camera.” Live and learn. I usually have to get burned once before I learn the actual finer points of tech and/or gear that is new to me. Now that I know what to look for, I’ll be able to buy something that fits what I’m wanting. Then this pos goes in the trash.

I got two of these cameras to look after an RV and house when we were away from either. The network installation requires holding your cell phone in front of the lens after you install the app. I have not checked out the website yet (will update after I do so) but the app is fairly easy to use. The remote control functions well but picture quality is reduced as the camera looks downward. That may not be the case if it was mounted, but I have them sitting on a mantel and when viewing toward the floor, the picture seems affected by glare possibly from the camera body. Overall a good product for the money, though keep in mind it does go through the manufacturer's server for the free 30 day cloud service...where ever that may be.

We owe a foscam camera and with the birth of my son we needed a 2nd one so decided to give this one a try. It is cheaper than foscam, but I personally feel it does a better job. The resolution is better and it provides more function such as video recording. It's also easier to use. For foscam you will need to set up IP address and every time we unplug the camera, we have to set up the IP again which is a pain in the butt. This one is super quick to set up and I've loving it so far.

Sadly, like a few others who have given poor reviews. I also struggled for a while trying to connect it to my router via the direct cable connection as described in the instructions. I was never able to get anywhere close to a connection, so I can't even say if the wifi even works on the item that I was shipped, I never got to see an picture to judge its quality.The instructions are very poor and offered no real help. Nor, did the company website, which I also checked. I didn't call or write their tech support, because frankly I shouldn't have to spend this much time hooking up a fairly simple camera. I've been working with computers since the early 80's and I work with video as a part of my job. So I'm not a novice at using technology.As a contrast to this camera, I then ordered a camera from another company here on Amazon, which arrived today...I had it up and connected (and running perfectly as advertised) in less than a half an hour. So, I'm returning this product. Very disappointing. It's possible that better instructions and troubleshooting info available in the package or on the website would have solved my issues, but I'll never know.

Bought this camera to keep an eye on our pets and I am very happy with this purchase. The picture quality is far better than my last camera. I like the fact that it came with a wall mount. one thing though, The power cord could've been a little longer. I found it hard to find a power outlet that was close enough to where I wanted to position the camera.

I purchased this item a while ago and using it with its all functions. It is easy to install. After you follow all instruction, within a minute, you will be able to see the image, capturing video on your phone. It is easy to install. And good quality.

Easy to set up, no problem with connecting to Wifi and app. The app is good. Through Wi-Fi connection, we can check on our home when we're away. We bought this mainly use to check on what our dog do during the day. Easy setup and easy to log into while away. We are especially happy about night vision, very clear. Only complain would be no motion sensor detects. But for this price, we are very happy with it.
