Buy them now thank me later.
Second time i got these. I was gping broke buying new work shoes every 3 to 4 months. That plus insoles. Im very very hard on shoes. I spent the money and risked it on these bad boys and man did it pay off. 100% great fit, I prefer WITHOUT insoles, also rough and hold up but sooooo comfy, and third little to no water intrusion even when running around out in tge rain. Seriously these shoes hold up. Had for 9 months now and only bot the second pair for the look and to have a pair for yard work. Hands dpwn best work shoes so far. Light and comfy but hold up better then all others. Plus I think they look good too.

no more knee pain
Short: great shoes, very comfy, used to be $35 at costco (too bad no more)Longer version: I used to by exclusively Solomon hiking shoes and at some point I started having a strong hip and knee pain after about 9 mi of hiking. I thought I was just getting old and need to switch to biking or something. One day I was a costco and decided and ran into a $35 deal on these shoes. Started wearing them and forgot I had my $150 Solomon shoes. Then I noticed that my knee and hip pain went away and I've done 20-25 mi hikes in these. Great shoes!

You should to know this, if you're an older athlete.
I looked at these shoes as being the baby brother to the Terrex GTX. I'm 60 and practice distance driving all the time, currently over 400' after one year of playing. I am very rough on shoes, I go through a pair every 4 months. I've worn these a half dozen times. They have a comfortable feel to the foot, not overly cushioned, however you feel supported. Traversing in sand, dirt, and tall grass, I've never felt this traction before outside of climbing boots. The cons are when lacing up it's hard to get a tight binding on the lower part of the foot. You can sinch up pretty hard and then when you release pressure, it does give back quite a bit, I have not had success in getting the bottom as tight as I prefer, but still acceptable. I do have narrow feet. For an older guy that had played volleyball for 30 years, these shoes grip very hard, so when you're doing your hard tourqing pivots expect more stress on knee joints due to the added traction.. Im feeling it in the knee joints.. No fault of the shoe, just something to bear in mind. Thumbs up so far, the design lends itself to durability, time will tell..Update:3 months into wearing these shoes…Pros:The grip and traction are still impressive. The comfort level is above average.Cons:Turs out, the mesh on the tops of the shoes are the weakest feature. The mesh easily tore after I snagged my foot on the trail. Seems this is the durability issue I've been reading about on some reviews.I expect no more than 5 months of 4 to 5 days a week hardcore use.All things considered, if I could buy these again at $40 I would do it in a heart beat. But, it looks like they've doubled in price. If that's the case, I don't believe they're worth $80.

Amazing shoes - happy customer
For a trip to Colorado, I planned on doing a bit of hiking with my partner so I started looking for shoes that would give me a good look with comfort and not cost an arm and a leg. I settled on this pair and decided to give it a try... and boyyyyyyy am I pleased I did. They are extremely comfortable, look great, and were a great price for Adidas shoes. I would recommend these to anyone who is questioning whether they should get a pair.

Not bad
Not bad for $40. Hopefully they hold up better than my $100+ Terrex Skychaser LT’s that split across the soles after 4 months. Love the fit though.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
I bought these for my husband who is a physical laborer, and a pretty husky chunk of handsome glory, and he loves these shoes! He even said he gets good support for his flat feet. I made his whole week when he saw these waiting for him.
