Heavier fabric rugger.
Just got it in the mail. It’s a heavier fabric like a rugby should be. Fits true to size maybe a little big. Embroidery looks nice.

Wonderful rugby shirt!
Great fit. Holds up well to many washes as I wear it all the time! Wish I could find more styles or colors.

Tight across the chest
The shirt is putty gray and blue. It fits well in the shoulders and the arms. The length is good for its size however the chest is too tight and disproportionate with the rest of the sizing.

European Sizing
I would describe European sizing as the stomach not all that generous compared to shoulders. If you're fat, order the next size up. Very nice shirt. Wear it a lot.

Disappointing
Not as tough as traditional jerseys. Until this one I had never before experienced a failure in a rugby jersey--that's in more than 50+ years of wearing rugby jerseys--yes, I am 80-years old and still active. Early on, I remember buying Canterburys from Tom Frost at Great Pacific Ironworks in Ventura. The walls at GPIW were festooned with Tom Frost's photos taken with his Leica of historic big-wall climbs. For me the Canterburys were tough enough to handle bouldering and rock climbs where they endured being dragged and scraped. Back then I remember paying $15 to $20 or so. Later, I had to order them from Scotland or New Zealand. Then I added Barbarian rugbys to the list. Yes, decades of use without a single failure. This one? Looks good. Attractive price. Fits well. Definitely lighter--8oz vs 12oz? I don't know, but it's lighter. One of the rubber collar buttons cracked & fell off. Immediately sewed a metal button and queried the seller for a replacement. No help, they are unable to provide a couple of buttons. Ok, I can replace them. I will continue wearing this shirt to the gym. But no points for the build quality after having failed in only a few months of light service; generally 1X or 2X per weeks of pedaling my road bike to the gym and back in the coolness of the early morning. In summ--probably ok as a casual-dress fashion statement but not much more. I will keep looking or pull some of my old jerseys back into service; yes I still have a few--these last few are probably 20 to 30 years old. Chuck M from Reno

Great shirt
Sized true (I ordered a Large, which is what I usually wear and this fits great). Solid construction, thick fabric, some padding, good collar. Love it!
