Great volume set I had been on the look out for a bible story volumes like this one since i was somewhere from 7 to 9 years old and our neighboors had a set like this one I heard I had to order them from Germany and it would be about six hundred bucks and I was willing to pay that till one day I found the the 10 volume set on Amazon for just a hundred lol love the set I've ordered a second set since i bought the first for my younger brothers and sisters and I thinks it's well worth the money lol by the way I'm almost twenty one years old now it took a while to find this set and I love the set

It is not the original (1957) as far as some of the pictures are concerned. Primarily, there are some new pictures added that don't quite fit, in an effort to be ethically correct and cover all of the races of the world. The stories, however, (and the pictures that go with them) are still marvelous. I had seen the original books a long time ago. I bought a set for my grand kids.

Was very pleased with the condition of the books for the price I paid. Very happy I found this set. I had a set my mom purchased one volume at a time and read to my brother and myself.
