Beautiful planter for succulents!
My picture will not do it justice, but it is very pretty and will easily hold 6 succulent plants. I love the color and the birds. The dish is shallow as explained so I got exactly what I thought I would receive. After looking at several in stores and on-line, this is by far my favorite:)

Overall, it's a very beautiful potter and I appreciate that the hole and "saucer" on the bottom are all integrated into one unit so you don't need to do or buy anything extra to get started planting. My only minor complaint is that there are definitely some paint/stoneware defects, specifically around the birds. At the end of the day, when I'm just glancing at while sitting on my balcony, I probably won't notice or care, but still worth noting. Also, my current problem is wondering why I bought a potter with such a beautiful inside base, because now I don't want to cover it up :(.

A bit shallow - wish it was deeper. But overall pretty good
It is shallower than I thought. I wish it could be a bit deeper so I can put in the cactus as well. Since the cactus is tall, it won’t stand stock in the shallow bowl. Other than this, it’s good.

Cute and lovely
This is sooo cute! Very well packed. I love it and changed my mind to do not use it as a planter, which may cover the beautiful design in the bottom. I put it on my garden’s table to use as a decorative pan to hold dry flowers and potpourris. It’s simply cute and lovely!

No rest for water to drain from hole
From the picture it looks like the drain hole has a tray as part of the bowl but it didn't so now I will need to buy additional tray for excess water which means higher cost. Need to describe better.

Cracked
When i went to screw a bolt in the opening of bird dish to post in ground, it cracked.
