Zip-around (metal zipper-around) Genuine Leather Wallet with Shark with Chain

This wallet fits in my front pocket. I love the chain look. It's nicely made, great quality. Soft leather not hard. I could probably put it in my back pocket but I'm one of those front pocket users. I had a hard time with the hook part that connects to my belt loop. I just used my old wallet hook to attach to my belt. My wife likes it to so much she's going to buy one too.

I have repurchased this wallet many times over the last 20 years. And, until recently I have always been pleased. Yes it is thick, but it had quality. My current one is nearing end of life, so I wanted to get a replacement early. And, using re-order, I purchased the exact same one I had supposedly purchased 4 times before.What I received is of lower quality than in the past. The zipper is thinner width, smaller teeth, and more flimsy than it used to be. The leather used has also changed. ALso the inside went from a silk to a pleather. And overall it feels a lot less durable than it used to be.My recommendation to the manufacturer, go back to what you had. It's why I kept re-buying this wallet. THe newer version is thinner. But, I bought this for the quality provided in the past. You've lost that.

Overed this after I purchased another similar wallet from this company except the zipper to enclose whole wallet is the difference between the two.And that is the downfall!The attaching point for the chain broke (ripped) in a few weeks time now in order to use the chain to secure it I have to attach the chain to the zipper.AND....... the zipper is a real hassle!! Unless do do not plan to open your wallet but a once or twice a day the just buy their other model without the outside zipper. I got it because I figured it would be more secure but too much trouble

I bought this wallet for my hubby who was in desperate need of a new wallet. He used to be a vendor and had been carrying a wallet on a chain for years. It is a bit hard to find wallets with a chain so when I saw this I showed it to him and he liked it. When the wallet arrived I checked it out and found it to be well made with nice leather, also loved the color. His last wallet did not have a zipper so I knew this would take a bit of getting used to. He has been carrying this for around a month. He is not wild about the zipper but feels that things in his wallet are more secure because of that.. The biggest complaint that he has is the thickness of the wallet. This is much thicker than what he was used to carrying. There are plenty of pockets etc. inside which might be nice for some, but in my hubby's case it is overkill, just not necessary...for example- a coin pouch. He always slips his coins in the front pocket of his jeans, not his wallet. Had they left out a few things like that it could have been a 5 star wallet. As it is, I can only give it 4 stars because it is just too thick for him...a nice and well made wallet, just not perfect!

Very nice. Plenty of room for anything you may carry, but still kept in your pocket. I am personally not "showy" , and don't like the longer chained wallets that stick out of your pocket. I want the chain to minimize the possibility of pick pockets at bike events.

Nice wallet, but kind of big. Lining ripped already. Changed rating to two.

While it seems to be a realy great wallet, well thought out, with lots of storage. It is a bit large. It might help if you add some dimensions or a picture of it along side of another items to show the scale. Other than that, So far so good. My son has lost 5 wallets since the start of 2014. I am hoping this will work. He does need to put it in his front pocket do the size. I just wasn't expecting it to be that large and thick. But then again, maybe all wallets with chain and a zipper are larger.

My wallet came today. It took only eight days to ship from across the Atlantic which I believe is rather impressive. Right out of the package I could tell this was going to be a sturdy wallet, and I was right. It is thick and the leather is hard. The metal pieces (chain, zipper, etc.) are all strong. I swung my wallet around by the chain to test it's strength, and nothing happened.Again I just got this wallet today and I'll update this review as good and/or bad things happen occur.
