WARM -- foot pads like Snow Shoes!
For over 25 yrs I have bought and worn MUK LUK slippers, mostly purchased in Maine. This year I bought these MUK LUK slippers, and am fairly pleased with them. The soles are a bit slippery - more so than others I have had -- so I have to be more careful walking. The color that I received was fine, sort a brown pattern with grey background. The only CON is that the food beds are HUGE! They are about two inches too long (I ordered a MEDIUM, as I take a women's size 8 shoe), and the width is massive: Feel a bit like Big Bird wearing them. Have to be sure to "pick up my feet" or they get caught UNDER my feet. For the price - and the hassle of having tried four other types -- I will keep them. Do not think I will get a pair for my husband, though, as I had hoped. Even these will be too big in the foot for him.UPDATE: After tripping over the MASSIVE "foot beds" of these, I have given them to my husband. These are FAR too big in the foot for anyone to wear, even with super heavy socks. What a sadness. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

These mukluks are better quality than I expected
These mukluks are better quality than I expected. The sole is not leather, but some fibrous leather substitute. It seems to fit it's purpose well. They're warm, decent quality, but somewhat larger than I expected. I wear a 9.5, and a large ends up being slightly large. A medium would probably have been to small. I requested that they ship 1 of a few color combinations, and CS met that request. These are a decent value.UPDATE: Since these were a bit large, I asked my wife to shrink them. She washed them in hot water in a washing machine, rinsed in cold, and dried them in an automatic drier on "Normal" setting. They shrank about a half size, of course the weave is now tighter, denser, and they fit better. The washing had no ill effects on the sole material. These started out "large", but are now appropriate for a man's 9.5-10 foot, and of course they are quite wide.

Size down
These are great, especially for the price. But they run way large. Or maybe they have men’s and women’s sizing grouped together? Im a size 11 in women’s and ordered a large for myself, it was too big and I returned for a medium. No big deal, I actually liked the color of the second pair I was sent better anyway. I do wish I could specify colors. That being said, I ordered some for friends for Christmas gifts.

Product was dirty
The product came in plastic, but when opened had a black hair woven in the top, the inside top was dirty, and after looking at the product more there was a big mud spot on it. Very disappointed.

Worst mukluks ever
These were nothing what I expected… They are cheaply made and they look cheap… There’s absolutely no support… And the sewing on the flimsy soul to the actual sock is poor at best

Blast from the past disappoints
I ordered these thinking I would get a kick out of something nostalgic from my high school days but they didn't live up to the image. They were poorly made, fit badly and were not true at all to the color description listed. I'm very disappointed as I was so excited aout this purchase.

they would have been perfect.
Finally, a slipper sock (Mukluk) big enough for my size 13 foot! Eureka! But, why are they so tall in the leg? This aspect makes them something of a pain to get on and take off. Had they been more or less ankle length, and fit in the ankle, they would have been perfect.

Okay
They shipped quickly, in about 3 days and are comfortable, I got a small and they are still big but they make good house slipper socks. They originally came with this cheap leather bottom sewn on them which I removed, making them more comfortable and sock like. Price is good for quality, I'd buy them again for myself but don't think they are gift quality. If you've you've ever boughten anything made in Pakistan you are already familiar with the quality of items that are made there....
