Most briefs work best for those sleeping on their backs. For people who sleep on their sides, there may be more leakage than for those on their backs. Regardless, for heavy bedwetters, you should also have at least one (maybe an overlapping second bedpad) disposable bedpad underneath the person from his/her waist to knees. The bedpad(s) will absorb the urine not absorbed by the brief. These briefs are very good.
