The software works very well, finding every channel that it should and giving a good, stable picture. However, this only applies when using a household aerial, which rather negates the point of the kit. The tuner itself could not find any signal at all in my house - ok, not the best location. Next try, walk around the neighbourhood and check the signal. The best that the tuner could report was only 40% or so with either of the two aerials supplied (best with the telescopic version), and at that level there were a lot of freezes, pixelations and audio squawks. Not really much use, as one would expect better results from a gadget specifically designed to work with a smartphone. There seem to be a lot of virtually identical items currently for sale - if asnyone finds a version that's more sensitive please let me know!
