the idea isn't too bad but unfortunately the grip on the shoe isn't strong enough so you end losing it half the time. I'm a marathon runner so running pretty much every day is a must, even at winter time when it gets dark by 6pm so gadgets that make me visible on the road are essential. This is not one of them.The product in itself is brilliant and very bright and definitely noticeable from the distance so perhaps for dog walking or cycling could actually work!

These are a nice idea, but their fixing is poorly. I wear a size 8.5 Brooks running shoe – arguably fairly average in terms of size and shape – but the clips, though having been firmly secured at home, made it less than 50 metres before popping off. The lights still work well to make traffic aware of you for your late night runs if you carry them (as I have), or wear them over your wrists (if they're slim), but as for their intended use as 'LED shoe clips', forget it!

These "shoe" lights are nice and bright and feel relatively tight. I wear Asics running shoes and they didn't seem to grip very well at all. I tried them both ways up on my shoes but couldn't get a position where they seemed to hold well.I had wondered if such heel lights might ping off if my heels touched. It didn't need any feet touching. They had fallen off within 500 metres of the start of my run (both of them) not once, but twice. I ended up putting them around my ankles instead - which isn't ideal as they are, as I said, relatively tight.They did the job and lit up my ankles but I wouldn't buy again as they don't stay on the shoes at all.

What a waste of money. When they arrived one was very bright and the other was so dim, I doubt it would have been spotted by a car. Then to add insult to injury, I went out for my first run with them and they kept falling off my shoes. I managed to save one and ended up putting it on my wrist but the other is out in the wilderness somewhere never to be worn by me again - £6.99 down the drain.

I love these lights - they stay clipped on well and ensure that I can be seen when running in the dark (which is most of the time in the winter!) Ive had them for a couple of months and they are still working well

surprised as i was to get these at christmas but i have used these for cycling since and they are a good product shame that they arent designed to be opposites but that aside they are fine and help with my safety

Happy with these, they are really bright and very easy to attach to my trainers, they do come a bit loose whilst I’m running but it’s not too much of a problem to push them back on again.
