Working Footpump
Footpumps are much less sturdy than they used to be but this one has now survived several uses. The guage is within 2psi of my handheld meter.

Light-use only, but acceptable for the price
Other reviews which say this is a cheap, flimsy product are worth heeding. On first use (pumping-up the flat tyres of my push-bike) the rubber cover for the foot plate fell off after just a few depressions. Though it was easily reattached, it suggested that I should treat the pump more gently, though I would have hardly called the efforts of my weedy leg muscles and size-5 feet "rough handling". Also, the quality of the supporting frame for the pump did not instil confidence that it wouldn't buckle under pressure if greater force happened to be used. However, I was able to inflate my bike tyres adequately, and with less personal effort than using a hand-pump and luckily, that's pretty much all it's ever going to get used for.If you are well-built, muscular, planning to use this pump often or to pump something larger e.g. a flat car-tyre, I would recommend you spend your money on a more rugged product.

This is how a foot pump should be.
THIS is how a foot pump should be.There's lots of foot pumps out there that add these flashy pointless plastickey gimmicks etc which add no value and often make the pump more flimsy and prone to failure. Then there's double-barrelled. Which take up a lot more storage space in the car/garage/etc, and don't really make much difference to the speed of pumping something up.This is how it should be - steel - which is much stronger and more durable than plastic, and basic. Just does the job, and does it well. Also there's a lot of pumps out there now that have really low quality guauges, and that only go up to a certain PSI or aren't marked out very well. This one has a proper traditional guague, with detailed accurate markings.Only downside, is the clips that hold it down, there is only 1 of them. Which puts sideways stress on the hinges etc when it isn't in use, please add a 2nd clip on the other side!

A BIT FLIMSY
Product well packaged and delivered within delivery estimated time.It is a bit flimsy and I do not think it would last long if used to blow up car tyres. That said it could get you out of trouble enough to get you to a garage.I bought it to blow up tyres on my mobility scooter and it did the job. (I don't know who was more puffed me or the scooter). I have the compressor type pump which is much better but on this occasion I could not move the scooter to the car so this little pump came to my rescue. The gauge did not work but I have others so was not a problem and the fitting to blow up air beds was not suitable for my particular air bed, I do not own a bicycle so could not try that out. Cheap enough to keep.

Cheap and cheerful pump
Good little pump for the money, has a good seal when pumping up tires and the pressure guage is not far off.Only downside is that the metal of the pump mechanism is not as hard as it could be.

Just the job for what I need
Wanted a reasonably priced foot pump for the occasional pump up of the car tyres and this one sounded like it fitted the bill. Received very quickly (next day!) from the Amazon Merchant Toolbank. A smart well made straightforward budget foot pump which has a nice sized rubber covered foot plate to stop your foot slipping off. Gauge was fairly accurate compared to my digital pressure checker and certainly good enough for a quick check. Can be a little tricky removing the valve end from the tyre valve but no major problems at all with usage and was easy and comfortable to use. Would not stand up to extra heavy treatment but put it on a flat surface and pump steadily and no problems. Looked at more expensive double-barrel options and also single barrel Michelin but glad I saved my pennies and went for this one instead.

Value for money
Does what I need it to. Not sure on the accuracy of the dial but the frame and the pump mechanism are fine.
