Tommyco Kneepads

This foam kneeler was a must-have for me as I work on putting in my very first garden. Our lawn is in poor shape and we have puncture vines that we're trying to clean out. These puncture vines produce thousands of little wooden spikes about 1/2" long that seem to get everywhere and could make you swear a blue streak if you step on them. I was afraid I'd end up with them in my knees (along with dirt, water, mud, etc.) if I didn't get a kneeler, so I ordered this because it reminded me of what my mom had when I was a kid. It's not the softest foam, but one side is clearly softer than the other. It's about 1"-1.5" thick and very light, so make sure that if you get up from it on a breezy day that you've got a rock or something to hold it down. I'm only 24 with no health problems, so I have no problem kneeling on this. It smooths out any bumps in the ground, keeps my knees clean and poke-free, and provides a bit of cushion. However, if you have joint problems you might want to look at something a bit more substantial. This isn't a super high quality kneeler and I could see myself needing a new one in a couple years, but I think it will serve my purpose just fine, especially for the price.

I purchased this product for working in my garden to kneel on, I was expecting three of these for my children and I to use and only received one.The quality is good for what I need it for and is thick and seems durable, but I am disappointed in the fact that the company did not specify in the description that it was only one. I do not understand why they put a picture of three and state that they come in "assorted colors", if they are only sending one, or in some of the reviews that i have read two? I honestly would not have ordered this product knowing that it was only one due to the fact that there are a few similar products that were around the same price that at least offered two or more.

It's a little shorter than I expected (my fault for not looking at the dimensions) but I tested it with my knees and it feels great! I plan to use it for yoga (as someone recommended on here instead of yoga pads that run $20 apiece!) and the shorter length shouldn't be an issue if I keep my knees together. If not, I might consider cutting it in half to make two pads. I think that wouldn't cause it any issues. Heck - even if it does, I'm only out $6 and could just buy another!The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I haven't had it long enough to determine how long it will last.

All purpose? Hardly. Sledding, no; Defending against raccoons, no; Floatie, no; but it is pretty good to put your knees on when you're working on the ground. I have terrible knees from years of soccer and this really lets me get down on them to clean the shower without my ACL saying, "Hey, remember me? I'm going to blow up one of these days!" I got one for my mom too and she says it's okay in the garden, just remember to rinse it off when you're done.I do wish that they would not put a sticky tag on these things because they rip them up when you try to remove it. I guess don't remove it is also an answer.

First, you are buying just 1, not 3. Price is good so that really wasn't a problem, I was just a little surprised (ok, it's probably written I the product description...would just be nice if they picture didn't make it look like 3)What I wasn't so thrilled about was one side is harder than the other, so it's a little surprising when you kneel on it and it's not as soft as you are expecting if you're on the wrong side. It's not painful, just a little unexpected. I've never seen these type of pads with different hardness.

This purchase was originally- A great deal and a quality product with 3 foam kneelers included in my first order. On my second or re-order of what I thought would be the same I only got ONE (1) KNEELER NOT THREE (3) as expected. What is with AMAZON getting over on us with me purchasing what is SUPPOSED to be the same re-ordered 3 ITEMS BUT NOT BEING THE SAME ORDER AND ONLY INCLUDING ONE (1)

I purchased this foam pad not for its knee protection for instead for a little butt comfort. Let me explain.Trying to do crunches on the road is difficult enough without the pain of sitting on the indoor/outdoor-carpet covered concrete floors of hotel rooms trying to do crunches. The pain was enough to make me stop doing the crunches and move onto other exercise. Until I bought this pad. It's high density foam and is perfect cushion for hip bones. It's not too big for my travel bag either. In fact it's useful for holding smaller items in place or separating clean clothes from dirty ones. This pad traveled Asia and South America with me and has held up very well.

I bought this for use as something other than a Kneeler -- I cut them up to use the foam but it's a dual layer of foam -- almost like you'd find in thong sandals -- harder rubber on the bottom with the colored part being softer to kneel on. They were perfect for what I used them for. In honesty if you were kneeling on these you may want to buy two and cool melt glue them together. They're only about 3/4" thick

I ordered one because I liked the designs. My order showed up fast but it's just lime green, which might get lost in the garden. I'm disapointed totally as I'll be lucky to fit it
