It came on but it never would charge

Looking Good
Having a fondness for being prepared, and for having a backup for the backup, this charger was ordered. I tested it using two, far-from-full-strength AA alkaline batteries. (Batteries are not included, by the way.) According to my USB meter, the charger produced 5.15 volts with no load attached. And, when supplying 250 mA while charging an LED flashlight, the voltage was 5.12 volts. This charger should serve my occasional needs well. The built-in, twin LED lights are fine but very secondary for my purposes. I like that a blue LED illuminates to indicate the charger function has been activated.

The idea is cute, but it only charges headphones. Heads up, it doesn't charge cell phones.
