The Tank Alert AB indoor alarm system monitors liquid level conditions in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, agricultural, filters and other waste applications. The sleek design of the alarm features a user friendly touchpad with colored LED indicators for easy visual detection. The alarm horn and red LED indicator activate for high water alarm condition. Once the condition is cleared, the alarm automatically resets. The green LED indicates120V primary power to the alarm. If primary power fails, the alarm continues to work due to 9V battery backup.

Simple to install, good value for the money
After being told how much money my septic guy wanted for a new alarm, I found this for 1/3 the price. screw the 2 wires on, and plug it in. Easy peasy.

Not very reliable
The previous one failed after only 3 and a half years. It's a very simple device, so for nearly $100 I expected it to last longer than that. I looked around, but could not find any competing products, so I had to replace it with exactly the same thing. Hopefully this one will last longer.

This one only lasted 7 months!
The original alarm lasted approximately 11 years before it failed. I figured that was a reasonable length of time so I replaced it with the same model hoping it, too, would last at least 10 years or so. Surprise! It didn't. It failed after only 7 months of operation. Now I'll have to search around for a more reliable alarm. Lucky me.
