I think it’s weaker than the traditional IPL and Laser combo but does the job. It requires patience and regular use and might take more longer time to obtain results. I am in 2nd week and have used twice and not getting burns on hair roots, what I had with my old one. I think that’s a requirement to get rid of unwanted hair follicles. The old one no longer available in the market and perhaps this has more skin friendly design to explore.

It takes time to get use to using it. You have to be patient, have good room around you and read instructions very carefully. It charges under 4 hours. Materials feels of good quality and it is not too heavy. It feels more intended for small areas and touch ups.

It honestly freaks me out a little bit. I tried to use it, but I am not sure if I am using it right. I think it will work great once I get past the Medical device vibe and realize how it works. I can't fault the device for that.It gets very cold at the end.

The media could not be loaded. I've had a full series of laser treatments done over 15 years ago on my legs. It took several sessions before you could definitely notice that a lot of hair was being killed off. And, you just never forget the painful zaps. It stung pretty bad. Compared to that, even on the highest setting, this just feels like a kinda hot flash. We've been using it for awhile now, and I've done many treatments, a few times a week, after every shower (they recommend doing this after a shower, because the skin needs to be clean), and I really don't notice a difference. It doesn't seem to singe hair on me. However, for my husband, he used it on his pubic area to test. And, on the highest setting, you can smell burnt hair. His hair will be singed looking. However, he has thick black hair, and he said even after several tries, it doesn't seem to be getting rid of hair.We're going to keep at it for the next few months. But, so far, it just doesn't seem to work.

I'm guessing the seller made assumptions that people know that this will only work with certain hair colors/ skin tones because the information and chart that the include in the user manual is nowhere in the description or photos when I ordered nor even now at the time of this review on 2/25/25.This information should be prominently displayed so that someone that had dark hair and skin does not order this.

I think this works pretty well. My hair definitely falls out after using this, and although it does grow back, it does seem to grow back a somewhat slower and thinner. I have not been using it long enough to get permanent results.However, I have had laser hair removal done professionally and I do know that even with a professional, the results can be slow but steady. That seems to be how this works. You have to stay on top of it. It is a slow process though because it's very small and you have to repeat this over and over and you can only zap a few areas at once.Why I marked it down: I believe this is IPL, not laser. I don't think you can combine both, and they are not the same thing. I don't like that they used both names to get people to purchase this. I know that some sellers will do that because many people don't know there is a difference, but I just don't like it that they do not make that clear. I have the Tria laser hair removal, which to my understanding is the only true home use laser permanent hair removal device on the market.Time will tell if this is permanent. I believe you need about six months in an area to tell if the results are permanent. I will continue to use it until I truly see how well it works.

This is making a difference albeit slowly. From another time when I did home IPL a few years ago (I didn't quite get them all), I learned that it takes a lot of time and dedication. It will take more than 8 weeks to be hair free. Professional treatments work faster but are also a lot more expensive.One of the product info images shows you need to use more regularly at the beginning and then keep it up once a month after. The reason for that is that initially you'll have a lot of hairs at the right time in their growth cycle for the device to zap, but over time, hairs that weren't in the growth cycle will grow and need to be zapped. Some hairs are stubborn and require more treatments, too.Also, another review is skeptical of this product since it comes with a skin type chart and also doesn't work on some hair colors, namely blond, red, and grey (if you dye your hair, only consider your natural color). This is normal, and if you have dark skin, this treatment is not for you. I didn't post a picture of the skin chart since they already did, but I would consult that before buying if you have darker skin. Even at day spas, most professional devices have restrictions on skin and hair combos.

I was hopeful that this laser hair remover would help to eliminate the need for constant shaving and that it would be more cost effective than having professional laser hair removal.But instead I was disappointed. This unit doesn't even turn on and if it did the cord is too short. I somehow thought it was going to be cordless and rechargeable but it is not.Then unit does come with dark glasses and a razor.
