Bought this to patch a counter top hole i accidentally drill through when mounting my dishwasher. A little thick to mix but no discoloration, clear in color, no odor and I've sat hot pans on that one spot and pretty heat resistant. Apply a torch or hair dryer to it to remove the bubbles. Super effective.

Works really well. Remember to heat the mixed epoxy up so that it pours evenly. Plenty of solution to complete a 30 square foot area. Live the high gloss finish!

I create artwork for a living and I use this to finish my art with because it’s relatively easy to work with (ie mixing up, bubbles, viscosity) I also have found that it won’t yellow like other brands have. I’ve even tested it outdoors and its held up great- although they don’t recommend using it for outdoor items. Overall the quality and reliability of this epoxy is superior to any other I’ve tried thus far. My one issue is that it’s so expensive I can’t afford to use it on every piece I want to. I wish it was less expensive for the gallon size kit, but everything else about it is unbeatably solid.

I have purchased stone coat, clear, epoxy resin on several occasions and have never been disappointed at all. The quality of this resin is second to none and while it is somewhat expensive, it is worth every single penny if you are looking to accomplish a high-quality job. I have used other resins and the consistency of stone coat far outweighs the sometimes less expensive resin available. The Boat countertop project that I just finished came out extremely well.

Was not worth the extra money. I purchased our promise brand epoxy for my first project that brand was extremely nice to work with. On my larger project vanity, I decided to spring for a more expensive epoxy. While the finish result was good. I feel like it was more difficult to work with the stone coat epoxy with no real benefit over the cheaper epoxy.

This epoxy has a longer working time so it's much better than the cheap ones. I watch stonecoat videos and the project turned out really good

First time doing epoxy and it turned out great. Only issue make sure you have a blow torch to remove the bubbles. Need more counter space in kitchen but did not want to purchase anymore stone counter top too expensive. I went to home depot and purchased 2 butcher blocks, join them together, stain to compliment the stone counter then added my epoxy. The final products give off a beautiful sheen. No scratches. Just be careful of the run off, once dry it’s hard as stone and not easy to remove. Also, the smell is intense, so wear a mask. Other than that, it’s easy to use, take your time, when in doubt watch the sellers video on YouTube, feel free to compare with other video as well they pretty much work the same. Ps. If using on food prep surface or eating, make sure it food grade. I used this product because they clearly stated it was food grade, not all epoxy’s are food grade.

I have used Stone Coat Countertops for every one of my Epoxy projects. It is the very best on the market. Please understand, it will scratch. There is no Epoxy out there that won't scratch. But it is incredibly durable. I have done my Bathroom countertops, my kitchen countertops, my very large barnwood bar and bar sink, and several tables. You can also go to Stone Coat Countertops on You tube and watch all kinds of tutorial videos on how to do it yourself. Best product by far!

Love the product. This was my first attempt so I kept it to a small project. Definitely more ambitious projects to come. All the on line videos made it a breeze.
