Retired chef and only go for sharp knives , this one’s great for finely slicing veg etc , and because of the large blade works great when held against bent fingers for julienne work , perfectly balanced. I sharpen it using a commercial diamond wheel electric sharpener. And should last for years . I just wish someone would make. A large wooden knive holder for it

Been wanting a chinese style cleaver for ages, so finally decided to get one. I was bit skeptical at first, I mean you don't expect a £30 knife off amazon to be top tier quality. However, i was blown away by how good this knife is. Came shave sharp out of the box, has a nice chunky handle, feels very comfortable to use. Tempted to get some of the other knives in this range, purely based on how good this one is. Haven't had the chance to use it for any big jobs yet so can'tsay how comfortable it is to use over long periods but I can't see it being an issue. Definitely recommend.

Good weight. Well balanced. Very thin, very sharp blade that is holding its sharpness well. Very happy with this knife.
