Can't knock it for what it is. It's certainly robust enough for a growing french bulldog. It's easy to clean as pup has already 'marked' it and thrown up in it. A great feature is the metal rings and hooks and you will need them in metal as plastic simply breaks! Just imagine the g-forces when breaking! It's not just a dogs weight you have to consider! Folds away flat if you don't need to use it as its cloth but the metal pins take 30 seconds to install to make it rigid enough for travel. It is technically height adjustable which is brilliant if you want it raised do dogs can see out of the windows on level, but can also rest in seats if you need! Wife loves this to bits, and the safety harnesses are brilliantly easy to just clip dog in and it can't rear up on its heels or jump up to distract you when u drive.

I've used the standard version of this with my 4.5kg chorkie for about 6 years and it's pretty much the best car accessory I've bought! Since her old one was pretty old (and the cat decided to pee in it, going through to the wooden board), I thought I'd treat her to the slightly larger deluxe model. And she loves it. Now she's a little old lady and slightly arthritic, she has room to properly lay down rather than just sit up. Fabric is very soft, pretty and best of all, washable. It's also very sturdy and easy to set up.

Very good item, nice & sturdy. Smaller than I imagined but it's still big enough. The only gripe is that the fleece lining moves around & bunches up. I've glued some velcro strips inside to prevent this.

Great product. Easy to set up and install into the car. Can adjust the straps to vary the height of the bed,and dog is very happy to sit and look out. Doesn't move sideways when going round corners, and is good sturdy construction. Would recommend for small dogs,for a good place to relax whilst in the car..

Took a bit of time to come but well worth the wait it's great she can look out the window and it's high so she can't lift my hand off the gear stick as she use to do and it's strong and great quality easy to assemble and really worth the money it's more expensive than some but I got a cheaper one for £25 and it didn't last 6 months this has a removabe liner for washing I love it and so does my cockapoo I have the window down she puts her head out and the harness keeps her safe I got the largest one so she could lay down and she does you too need one

Good product but the fabric of the inner lining is minimal and will not stay fixed.

After a shaky start & Loki escaping 3times before we got of the drive, he is finally getting use to it and has even started to lay down in the car. So happy with the seat & wish we bought one ages ago. Easy to put together & put in the car, just make sure you do up the back strap around the back of the car seat as this makes it stable. Loki is a Pomeranian & is around 5 1/2 kg and the extra large was a perfect size, he can lay down quite comfortably. Good product

This a great item, my Dacchy loves it, she has enough room to lie down in and just loves peering out the window. My only two gripes are, the fluff comes off a bit easily, and she got it choked in her throat, so I think if you wash it first before you use it, it get rids of the extra fluffy bits, a bit like when you buy a new carpet. The safety belt could be a bit longer as it restricts her moving if you attach to her harness. I have put in a new one which allows her to move more freely. Overall I am pleased and I can now wind down the window and not worry about her jumping out.
