Learning Resources Take 10! Color Bug Catchers, Fine Motor Skills, For 2-4 Players, Ages 3+

This game is SO much fun for my 3 and 4 year old children! I read the reviews and I will add in my review what this came with. Included in my package was 36 bugs 6-orange, 6-red, 6-yellow, 6-blue, 6-green, and 6-purple. This also came with a colored and numbered dice. The numbered dice is from 1-6 which in my opinion is silly, because if you roll a 6 you will take all of the color you get. We wish the dice would have 1-3 numbers.It also came with 2 alligator shaped grabbers...which as some reviewers say are a bit stiff, but if you pull them apart a bit they work just fine and both my 3 and 4 year old have no problems grabbing the bugs. I would definietely not let tiny children who put things in their mouth around this game because pieces could be bitten off and cause a choking hazard.The one complaint I have about this game is the red and orange are really hard to distinguish unless you have the right lighting. I have included a picture of all the colors and the size of the pieces/grabbers and dice. the dice are made out of a foam type of material.Overall this product is amazing. I am loving the learning experiences in this game, teaching colors and/or counting I also love the small plastic container it comes with for storage!Also in my picture under the lighting I used the spider is the red one and the grasshopper is the orange one. In bright natural light it is much easier to distinguish the two.

The media could not be loaded. I feel like it’s hard to find quality kids pretend type toys. I was so glad to come across these! They are very strong heavy duty material.My son loves to learn shapes and they have a texture type feel to them. To incorporate fun with learning is a nice feeling as a mom! A must buy!

First of all, let me tell you that these bugs are very well made! They’re thick, bright in color and big (safe for those with babies). The game I think it’s ok, but we use this bugs and the tweezers for many things. It comes in a small plastic package that can be easily carried around and we take it to many places, in which we use the game as is with its 3 options. But when we are at home, we put these bugs in a kids pool and they love taking them out while playing different games. We bought some scissor style tweezers from the brand that work great with fluids and they’re a hit, they feel like they catch the insects.We also make sensory bins and place the bugs inside, even in slime! Great for sorting, fine skills and more. They clean great and definitely recommend for toddlers and kids. Great value and tons of ways to use them around.

This review is for the Learning Resources Take 10 Shape Finder Cookies.I bought this shape sorting game for my 3 year old son. He currently is enrolled in the Early Childhood Special Education program. I'm constantly looking for activities that will grab his interest as well as assist him in the various areas he struggles in. This little game does just that.Included in this purchase is a small carrying container, 24 cookies, and a spinner (please see included image to view what's included). The carry case is plastic, paint can shaped container and would have made suitable storage had my older kids not ripped the bottom off. I chose to place the pieces in a container with latches which actually proved to make for a better storage choice as my child struggled with the lid on the container it came with (please see included image for my storage solution). The game comes with a variety of ideas of how to play this with your child. We use it for shape identification, following directions, taking turns and sorting.Each cookie is firm; my son has chewed on them and tried to squish them and they're in perfect condition. They are not slippery and have a nice thickness to them which makes it easier to grasp.I'm very pleased with the quality of this game. I have no doubt that it will last for many years. As soon as my son no longer uses it, I will be donating it to our early childhood program so other kids can benefit from it.

Pros:*The tweezers are smaller than I expected, see picture for reference, but a good size for small hands.*My two year old was able to use the tweezers by himself with some practice, and little guidance from me.*Comes with three different games to play*Bugs could be used for teaching colors, sequencing patterns, and imaginative play.*Comes in a plastic bucket with a carrying handle which makes it easier to keep together and store.*Good for fine motor skillsCons:*Some of the bugs are harder than others to pick up which may cause frustration but my little one was able to find a way with some practice.*Wish the counters were something other than bugs. Im not a huge fan of bugs at all.Overall, I would probably purchase the game again. Just got these for my 2-year-old granddaughter, because she loves to take little objects out of one container and put them into another container. Or else empty the container and put the contents back in again.What I really like about this toy is that my granddaughter can learn about color re ignition, counting, and categories all in one toy. She liked picking out certain creatures, such as the spider and the dragonfly, and the bright colors are great. The little gator grabbers are good for developing hand dexterity, and I love that you can make multiple games out of this! The little storage bucket is also handy.
