I didn't need this before, but now I do. Excellent hand vacuuming tool for my new shag rug. Works well on upholstered furniture as well. Very good product.

As a picky old lady, I have always preferred the vacuum utensils of yore - bias here, ya think? Back in the day, our vacuum tools were provided with natural bristles - some soft that would not scratch the surfaces of nicer wood, both furniture that was actually made from wood and some stiffer for those tougher jobs. Nowadays, all utensils are made the same. They all pretty much are made for floors only. The acryllic and plastic made bristles truly suck. Throw them out.So, when I ordered this one, I thought I was getting a softer bristle. Not so, disappointing. Nuff said.I will now start to scour (pardon the pun) the thrift stores and vacuum repair shops for older, well kept product. I want to buy new, but today's designers don't have a clue about the various needs for rough to refined cleanups; in fact, I doubt if they have ever vacuumed anything. 🤗🤗🤗

This fits my old Eureka The Boss SmartVac upright vacuum model 4870 type D. The picture shows the new upholstery nozzle on the left and the original one that came with vacuum on the right. The openings have a slightly different shape but the new one fits on the solid plastic end of hose just fine. It is much better quality than original upholstery nozzle.It cleans my sofas and chairs just fine and helped with removing pet hair from furniture.This attachment does not fit in the caddy on back of vacuum for storage due to different shape opening. That isn’t critical but want buyers to be aware.I’m satisfied with this product and would recommend to a friend.

Fits my Electrolux/Aerus perfectly and maintains its grip on the extension. Works as it should and has good thick bristles.

This did not fit my upholstery vacuum. It has slots on the back side that need to match up with Bruce on a hose, which my vacuum does not have

the bristles are detachable, which seems like nice flexibility, however they have a tendency to slide off while you're vacuuming. Bristles are soft, too soft for upholstery, will be great for window treatments. When bristles are removed, it's just a plastic brush with no bristles for upholstery. I prefer to have a stiff ridge of bristles to best pick up the dog and cat fur.Overall, nice quality bristles, but not as effective on upholstery as I would like.

Well made. Bristles are short and stout - which is what I wanted. They are soft, though, so it cleans without scratching, if you use it sensibly.
