I cut them in half to make them the right size to use easily for cleaning. I'm still using one that is over a decade old. The new one is folded and hanging next to it on my kitchen sink faucet. I'll retire the older one soon as a matter of aestetics. But for now I cant bring my self to do it as it still functions so well. I'll get to it. These Shamwows are the real deal, unlike imitations ....which are pure crap. The thing about Shamwow is not just the MASSIVE absorbancy which is easily wrung out, but the "gripping" texture of the cloth itself which grabs and cleans off dirt oil etc easily and washes out super easily leaving a sparkling clean rag ( no dirt or oil) in seconds! That includes normally staining things like berry juice etc! It's like nothing else on the market. and they get BETTER as they age! Worth every penny.

These are my daily towels to clean kitchen, bathroom, car, etc. They are resistant and very absorbent. Just don't put them in the dryer after washing them (it is in the instructions)

I use these in my kayak, one under my seat to soak up water and one to wipe water off of me n stuff. I have to be very careful that one of these do not fall in the lake as I could be left high and dry when it soaks up the lake. Also cannot wash them as they will soak up all the water in the washer. When I leave my kayak outside in the rain I put these on the inside and they act like an umbrella soaking up all the rainwater. In fact, there is a 3 foot dry spot all around the kayak. A great value to keep things dry and safe... if you dare. With great SHAM-WOW comes great POWER *!*

I love these imitation "Chamois". They feel like felt when they are dry. They are super absorbent. I was looking for a chamois for the pool. I like to use them to dry off so I am not dripping wet. I went through all of the cloths listed and none seemed cost effective and to serve my purpose. Many were microfiber.... I bought my first set of Sham Wow probably 15 or 20 years ago and just shoved them under my sink. I recently had a flood in my house and after using all of my towels, I pulled the Sham Wow out from under the sink - cleaned up the mess with just 4 of them!! I though, those would be perfect! I went to look and found them available. These work great for the pool, around the house, in the car, etc. You can cut them to size. They work well dry or wet. I use one at my kitchen sink to dry hands, one in the shower to wipe down walls and glass doors, I have them in my pool bag, in the car, etc. They are washable but don't use fabric softener and hang them dry. I marked them down for durability but that may have been my fault. I had left them under the sink for 15 years and after cleaning up the mess in my house, I washed them and several of them go holes in them where they had been damaged from being under the sink. They still work though!

Being my age, I saw a lot of advertisements for this product. I was highly entertained by Vince in my youth and high school years and the remixes they made of his infomercials. Anyhow, I never bought these because my parents have always been very frugal and they were a bit more pricey back in the day I think. I'm not sure if I bought the stock from 20 years ago, but these things are not the quality that they would show in the infomercials. It kind of soaks up a lot of water, but we have these gallon pitchers in my house and I soaked up as much water as it could until it was full, and then I emptied it into one of these pitchers. It really only filled up about an eighth of the pitcher which is not what I expected to see, especially when these things are so big My primary purpose of buying it was to actually dry off my motorcycle when I was done because I thought it would be way more absorbent and I knew it was a type of microfiber that would not damage my paint. It left the surface pretty damp and I had to go back over it with an actual microfiber towel to completely dry it, but it did a good job of soaking up the more saturated parts. I mean it's not a super amazing product but it soaks some water up, I don't see what the hype was all of these years. My friend actually got a knock off one that seemed a bit more rubbery but worked WAY better. I honestly don't think I would buy these bad boys again, and would rather get real microfiber towels. Although I will say my cat spilled his water the other day and it definitely helped in that situation, but I still had to go get another towel to completely dry the floor. They are pretty easy to clean though, you just use your dishwashing sink hose and spray it off and it becomes pretty clean pretty quick.

Bought them as a joke, didn't expect them to be any good, was still disappointed how bad they were.

Excellent for wiping various applications. Great savings as it also helps keep produce last longer in the fridge and is washable and reusable.

Nicht so gut

I purchased these to use to dry the dog after a bath. They are brilliant, absorbing lots of water to make blow drying the dog so much quicker. They are thicker than others I have bought , but manageable to use., approx the same size as a tea towel. The pack of 4 was hardly any more than a pack of 2, same sized. Different sellers. A brilliant product, and I don’t say that often.
