STERILITE Plastic Bowl, 1 Count, Clear

This is a great bowl that I use for making macaroni salad and it makes it easier to have a airtight lid.

This is a wonderfully big container to put my Christmas cookies once I decorate them. It's like the one my mom used to use when I was a kid. I'm feeling nostalgic this year. My mom will be 90 soon. I put an entire 5 lb bag of flour in the bowl for scale. It's really big! The clips on the outside are easy to close and open. I don't plan on using this bowl for things that leak so I didn't test for that. I put a piece of bread in it overnight and it was still soft in the morning so it seems to indeed keep air out. This is a fantastic bowl!

I first bought this bowl over 10 years ago and LOVED it. I use it to store the lettuce I prep for my salads. I swear this is the trick to keeping your salads fresh for a week longer. I use a salad spinner and then throw the lettuce in this bowl and the air tight seal keeps it fresh. My family's veggie intake is greatly enhanced by always having fresh salad prepped in the fridge. And it doesn't even get soggy. I have had multiple people comment that my salads are always so good, and I always credit this bowl. Now all of my extended family has bought one for their homes.After about 8 years I lost my first version of this bowl and my husband tried to replace it with one he found at the grocery store. It was not nearly as good. This Sterilite bowl has a much better seal, is more durable and is the perfect size.I know I sound insane for feeling so passionate about a bowl😂. But when I find something that works so well and makes my life easier I want others to know.
