Fits protected 18650s
I had previously bought another set of battery boxes in which to store my recently acquired protected 8A 18650 batteries, only to find that they wouldn't fit. Amongst the reviews for this Ppower box I noticed one saying that it was suitable for these longer 18650s - so I gave it a try and I am happy to report it's true! In fact, the box is also very slightly oversized (for 18650s) in width so there is a little bit of rattling, for which I docked a star because I have another box which manages to hold its batteries tightly, which I prefer (to be fair, some might consider me overly picky!). The 2 Ppower boxes I ordered came quickly, and surprisingly well wrapped for what are effectively just plastic containers. They seem robustly constructed, although I haven't given them much of a workout yet. So I'm very pleased to have found what I was looking for.
