Paper-Thin Rubber Coating Over Metal, Not a Rubber Plate
I used the plates for 2 lifting sessions and I heard a funny noise when I took one off the bar; it was the coating that had come loose and as it dragged on the bar it made a fluttering noise. These ARE NOT rubber plates. If the coating only comes off where it touches the barbell I can live with that but if it continues to peel on the sides I will be very upset. These are far too expensive for me to accept that.
