It works. Sturdy and made of metal too. For the price i will give it 5 stars even if it falls off after two months ... like the first reviewer found out. Besides, I am sure a rubber band should fix that problem.

Works for a while
Had this in my car and was really great for the first few months and then the jaws begand to spread that hold it to the vent and it will not hold anymore. Don't waste your time with this one.
