Orange-sol 10228 "De-solv-it Plus" Stain Remover - 9 Oz

De-Solv-It has been my favorite stain remover since discovering it years ago, and when I saw this grease one I jumped all over it because YES! We are constantly ruining clothes in our house because I'm terrible about checking them before they go into the washer or dryer to see if there are any grease spots. I ordered this the second I found it and even though the price was REALLY hard to swallow, I paid it because I'm lazy and didn't feel like chasing this down somewhere in town (and I hate Walmart so won't go there for anything, ever). This is every bit as amazing as advertised. I've used it on every single piece of clothing I'd put into a "ruined by grease" pile hoping that someday I could find something that actually worked. Some of those clothes had been in that pile for over a year and every single one is now stain-free. I'm seriously still in amazement!

I originally bought this for some stubborn stains caused by my washer on colored clothes. It did help, even after previously being laundered. I think it may have affected the spandex portion of my cotton/spandex tank tops however by stretching the spot it was sprayed on.

In my profession, I get splattered with a lot of greasy foods. De-Solv-It Plus works better at getting out the stains than any other spot treatment or laundry enhancer I've tried. I used to buy it at a local retail chain store, but they stopped carrying it, so I was really glad to find it on Amazon. The only negative comment is that it has a solvent smell, but it IS a solvent and it goes away in the dryer. It's worth it because I've saved countless shirts from the garbage. It really works!

I was a bit disappointed as it took four washes using this product to get out chocolate stains that had gone through the dryer. It does say it can get old stains out, it just doesn't tell you how many washes it will actually take.

This is O.K. but it not the original product that I purchased that took out every stain possible. I'm a little disappointed! Please bring back the original stuff!

First, i didnt get the product ordered. I got the regular de solv it rather than the plus. Not saying the plus is that different, but when using my mother in law compared to this, it sure seems different. This product does no better than my oxi clean or shout products. Very disappointed in this product when compared to the product i ordered and didnt receive.

It's hard to find a good stain remover and this one is it. The only draw back is for the money you get a very small bottle, but when getting a bad stain out means the difference of wearing it or throwing it away, this one's worth the money.I wouldn't waste it on spots you can get out with other cleaners, but save it for the challenging spots.

So thick it will not spray.
