A used book in good condition. A lovely story/gift from a Granma missing her granddaughter, particularly in lockdown.

Just arrived and it is beautiful and inspiring.

A very positive story about being different and facing the world as you are. A strong message well told. Delightful bold pictures.

Brilliant book for young girls.

I got this when looking for some books to help my toddler develop positive self-esteem & resilience - however, I was disappointed in the tone of this book. It seems to suggest if you just grin & bear it you'll eventually win the bullies over, which I don't think is realistic nor helpful. It might help a child place less emphasis on their 'weaknesses' or try to turn them into strengths, but even then it does in my eyes get the tone wrong by focusing on physical characteristics & not personality (unless you count blindly following the misguided if well meaning advice of your granny as a personality trait!)

This book is a fabulous story for children with a good moral and happy illustrations.

Awesome message for kids!!! My child loved it and often quotes Molly lou Mellon to live a never give up attituted !!!

My perception was that the book has some detailed story that would help us understand the problem and helping our kids cope with them. To my surprise this book has more pictures than text.
