L'PaigeL23 - SIMPLY RED Designer Lipstick | Aloe Vera Based, Long-lasting, Moisturizing

So after giving a 5 star rating, I have since changed my mind! I'm downgrading to a "1". I have loved L'Paige lipsticks in the past and still think they're a great quality lipstick. However, I must say that the product colors shown and what they ACTUALLY ARE may be two different things. I had ordered a couple of red lipsticks and bought the ones that would be the boldest and deepest reds offered. There actually is a Dynamite Red but the reviewer with the video of it said that it took many layers for her to get a deeper red look. Still, I didn't think it looked quite like I would have expected it to. I wanted the color red that we think of when we think of, for instance, Valentine's Day, red roses, bold red dresses, etc. That's not what these lipsticks were! They were both non-red in my opinion. In fact, they were trying to be kind of reddish/orangish and even pink included in them. They were ugly and not at all what I expected. I had agonized over the colors of the lipsticks offered and finally had decided on Brick Red and Simply Red. They weren't red at all! It's hard to describe them, but they were definitely not red. At least, not as most of us would think. I will try and see if L'Paige offers any other real true reds in their line. Maybe they just weren't offered here. I really want a deep blue/red lipstick. I was very surprised at how "off" these colors actually were as reds. However, with that said, I still think they're a great product and I hope to be able to purchase other lipsticks from them in the future. L'Paige just has to be able to produce the EXPECTED colors that we are wanting to purchase.

I used this products years ago and the would last all day.. I used to use the lipstick back when it came in a gray lipstick case
