good price for a reasonably comfortable, light, small-packing mat
This mat is very reasonably priced - well, the list price isn't, but you can find it for much less from Amazon and some other online sellers. It is reasonable comfortable, but at only 25mm thick it can't really compete with thicker (and thus heavier) mats. It is very light and packs up very small. It would probably be fine for summer use on its own, but for cold weather I used it in combination with a foam mat - the Multimat Trekker Thermal 10 XL, which although bulky is quite light. The combination kept me warm camping in November, with temps down to just a bit above freezing.
