Fixture MIPS II Youth Helmet

My son is almost 3, but he got a big head. This fits him good and I feel better knowing his noggin is protected. MIPs was a feature we sought out. It’s adjustable via a chin strap and head circumference clicky locky wheel type thing. He’s right in the middle of the range for size so we know it’ll fit him for a while. Quality feels standard. Color was true to the ad. It could work for scooters, cycling, souped up power wheels, etc. It’s versatile, but I wouldn’t use it over 15mph.

Very happy with this item. I had previously purchased another helmet from a more expensive brand that supposedly has a great reputation for quality helmets for all types of sports, but found that one lacking. After checking this helmet out in a local sporting goods store, I decided to give it a try, and I am not disappointed. For the price, I received what I believe to be an excellent quality product that not only has the safety features I was looking for, but also looks great and is comfortable to wear. Recently did a 30 mile ride in town with some friends, and I have zero complaints about the fit, finish, or appearance of this helmet. I purchased the green color with claw mark version, and despite it saying that this is a "youth" size helmet, it fits my (average sized) adult head comfortably. This particular helmet might be a bit snug on someone with a larger head, but I find no issues with the way it fits me. This helmet is a great value for the price, and would have no issues outfitting my kids with this helmet as well.

We were struggling to find a helmet that fit our 4-year-old's head, which is in the 99th percentile. This is great. We feel confident that he is protected while biking and skating, and he finds it comfortable. I appreciate the visor for sun protection, and being able to adjust the tightness ensures a snug fit every ride! The colors are as pictured and more fun than basic black or grey.

My little two-wheeled shredder loves his red cycling helmet so much that not only do I not have to remind him to put it on before riding, I have to sometimes remind him he can take it off after the ride is finished! Parents will love it’s ease of adjustment, making sure the fit it dialed in. And that with included MIPS technology built in, your child’s noggin is in good hands.

Absolutely love the safety features on the helmet and feel great having my seven year old son wear it. My only critique is that he can’t get the helmet off by himself- the chin strap clip is so strong that it even takes two hands for me to get it off. This is a pretty big downfall for a kid who wants to independently ride his bike to and from our neighbors houses as he can’t independently get his helmet off once he’s at his destination. I’m hoping in time it’ll loosen up? Or maybe we got a helmet with a faulty chin strap?

I got two. One for each family member. Fits well the strap is kind of hard to get off but knowing my family is got some protection is worth it
