Is this coffee shade grown?

Thanks so much for your question! All of our coffees come from shade-grown bird-friendly habitats. The reason for this is that specialty coffee grows on mountains and alongside other trees, fruits, and plants and the eco-systems of these cohabiting plants provide refuge/cultivation for birds. This is the case for the land that all of our farmer partners occupy and for most specialty coffee, as it is grown at high elevations from independent small farms.

Is Forty Six individual bags similar to tea bags?

All counter culture I’ve gotten has been whole roasted beans. It’s great coffee and I highly recommend.

We apparently had a bad batch much like one of the reviews. Didn’t smell right and had a weird taste. Anyone else have this issue?
