Seemed to take forever to sort through all the supplement products to find a potassium supplement that was more than 99 mg elemental potassium that wasn't a bulk powder. Plus, many brands cheat and list the full milligrams of potassium plus the molecule it is bound to. So people think they are getting more potassium than they really are. Ideal Infusion had the answer. They plainly show you exactly what you are getting on the nutrition label. Even state it for 1 or 2 capsules per serving separately. No tricks or gimmicks. The supplements industry was limited to 99 mg tablets due to the tendency of potassium chloride tablets to cause issues when dissolving in one place in the gut. But, that doesn't apply to powders. And this is powder in a capsule. And with 2 capsules, I can get 500mg at a time and not have to worry about issues tablets have with dissolving. As a bonus, there is 930 mg citrate which can replace my citric acid supplement I take to support energy synthesis through the Krebs cycle. Potassium Citrate can increase urine PH making it less acidic. Which for me, may increase the active duration of one of my medications that eliminates faster when more acidic. I don't have kidney stone issues. But if I did, it is also often used as a treatment for that.

These Potassium Citrate 1430mg capsules from Ideal Infusion are a great way to get supplemental potassium into your diet. The capsules are easy to swallow, not being too large (see photo for size reference). There is no disagreeable taste, after-taste, or odor. I have not experienced any stomach upset while taking this supplement. The bottle the capsules arrive in is the only product packaging, so all the info is on the label. This includes a fairly standard admonition to consult a healthcare professional before beginning to use this supplement if you have any health conditions. The distributor's (Ideal Infusion) mailing address (a rental PO box) and website are provided on the label. However the actual manufacturing source information (who?/where?) is not provided (on the product label or the website), hence the four-star rating. The container arrived with double, tamper-evident, safety seals (neck band and inner seal), plus cotton packing (see photo). Lot number and expiration date are printed on the bottom of the bottle (see photo) but a little difficult to easily read due to being printed over some molded-in text on the bottle. The price point makes this a decent value, considering it's potentially an 8-month supply (if you take one capsule per day). Otherwise, it's 4 months-worth, at two per day - still a good deal.

By the far the best potassium over the counter product I have purchased. I don’t think I have seen any other potassium product with more than the amount of mg this one has.

They shipped quickly and are easy to swallow. This is just what I needed for my kidneys.
